Joint complexes of the body are comprised of two components, bone and soft tissues. To improve joint position and movement you need to affect both aspects. The first component of the joint, the bone, will be affected through specific spinal manipulations to improve joint range of motion and function. These treatments will help relieve stress and pain at the joints sites.
The beginning of treatment plans will consist of more frequent adjustments to help with joint and muscle memory through repetitive treatments. As the patient progresses through chiropractic care frequency will taper. The chiropractors at Northern Edge see their treatments as a proactive way of affecting the body in a positive way.
