Nicholas Curry, D.C. completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth in May of 2010. He continued his education at Northwestern Health Sciences University and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in November of 2013. During his tenure at UMD, Dr. Curry worked with students and athletes to create workout regimens and perform functional assessments to help improve exercise ability. Dr. Curry also published a research study about the effectiveness of plyometric exercise in improving overall function of major muscle groups during his time at the University of Minnesota Duluth. During his tenure as a chiropractic student, Dr. Curry gained an even greater perspective on how the human body functions, and how to treat injuries. Dr. Curry is an excellent adjusting chiropractor with the background to help anyone looking to overcome an injury, or anyone who is looking to gain an athletic “EDGE” over their competitors.
Dr. Curry is trained in functionally assessing movement of the entire body. He believes that proper movement patterns of the body are the key to optimal joint and muscular health. Dr. Curry utilizes diversified adjusting techniques, manual soft tissue protocols to address muscular injuries, and provides exercises for strengthening to help correct functional imbalances.
Dr. Curry grew up in Rochester, MN and currently lives in Maple Grove, MN. He enjoys an active lifestyle, and is passionate about fishing, hockey, and golf. He enjoys going for runs around Eagle Lake in Maple Grove with his 3 year old golden retriever, and spending time at his cabin in Wisconsin.
